Freetown — One of the acclaimed government-owned hospitals in Sierra Leone, Princess Christian Maternity Hospital (PCMH) is reported to be running without gloves, thermometers, monitoring machines and irregular water supply.
Speaking to one of the medical practitioners in the hospital, Dr. Freddie Coker confirmed that though with other challenges, the hospital has been running for some time without these very needful items. "The condition of service for staff is not encouraging, the salary is not enough," Dr. Coker added.
