Eritrea: Wina Technical School Graduates 83 Students

83 students, out of whom 36 are female graduated from Wina Technical School in Nacfa on February 23 upon completion of a 3-year course in metal and wood works, as well as electronics and mechanics.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the director of the school, Mr. Eyob Beyin, pointed out that the school has been nurturing dynamic youths since the days of the armed struggle, and added that there was high female participation in the course. Urging the graduates to apply their newly acquired skill in national reconstruction programs, Mr. Eyob expressed appreciation to the parties that made due contribution in the work of the School.

The director general of technical and vocational training in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Tesfai Sium, on his part stressed the significance of manpower equipped with technological advancement in the nation-building process.

More than 900 youths have graduated from Wina Technical School since 1992 and are playing active role in development endeavors.
