Luanda — The National Association of Basketball Referees of Angola (ANJBA) has turned down the proposal submitted by the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB) about match prizes, informed the association's chairman, Carlos Júlio.
The source noted that, the table presented on Friday by organ in charge of the sport, with a 50 percent increase of the prize does not meet the demands of the members who desire for a 100 percent increase.
ANJBA's board will submit, in the near future, another proposal to FAB.
Founded on 24 February 2004, ANJBA has 150 members. Members of the international category get 3,016 Angolan Kwanzas (AKZ) for each game, of the national class' first category receive AKZ 2, 585, whereas the national class' first category get AKZ 2,154, and 1,723 for the provincial category.
