The construction of the Igla-Demhina road, along tough terrain, on the basis of internal capacity fully attests to the success of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign, stated Mr. Semere Gebremichael, manager of the Bidho Construction Company.

The road, which is under construction at an expenditure of 74 million Nakfa, would play a significant role in providing social services to the inhabitants of the eastern part of the Southern region, and the villages of Egela, Mesgolo-Zula, Daero, Mashur, Safira, Sibiraso, Esbato, Omokia, and Karibosa, among others.

The supervisor of the project, Mr. Fitwi Zere, indicated that three quarters of the task has already been finalized as part of the first phase. He also indicted that the necessary preparations have been made to continue the construction of the road up to Foro.

A visiting group of NUEW employees were briefed on the progress of the project's implementation during which they hosted a luncheon to the youth who are actively engaged in the undertaking.
