The First Vice-President of the Republic, Dr Yves Sahinguvu keeps on carrying out his campaign geared at strengthening the trio of administration, security forces and the population.

Today, he held a meeting in the commune of Kibago in the southern province of Makamba that administration representatives from Bururi, Makamba and Rutana provinces attended in order to address security issues.

The First Vice-President of the Republic took the opportunity to inform the government administration and security officials of the results of the recent talks between the government of Burundi and PALIPEHUTU-FNL and mentioned that in July FNL members will integrate into different institutions of the country.

Dr Sahinguvu advised the security forces to dismiss any of their members who is found guilty of disturbing security in the country.

Ministers in charge of security also attended this meeting which is a continuation the Burundian government's plan to combat violence which Dr Yves Sahinguvu launched at Kamenge in Mid February.
