Nigeria: Govt Earmarks N2.1bn for Water Supply

Ilorin — Kwara State government yesterday said a total sum of N2.1 billion has been set aside for implementation of both urban and rural water supply this year, to boost potable water supply.

Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Salimon Adelodun, stated this in Ilorin yesterday, while speaking with THISDAY. He said government would spend a total sum of N1.8billion to replace all water pipe networks in Ilorin metropolis, to allow water supply to residents' homes.
