Cameroon: A business unlike others

P.N.E.

10 March 2008

Publicity aside, the "Mega Electronics", situated at the Molyko neighbourhood (Buea), deals with the best electronics and household equipment in town. A tutored view of the store pinpoints a well-managed business venture that prides itself thanks to hard work, determination and creativity.

Though not exclusively through PIAASI, the proprietor however applied for a PIAASI loan of CFA 1.5 million to buy a Digital Printer of CFA 2.5 million. Ask anyone in Molyko and even beyond, and you'll be informed that the store is the place to get the best. The Managing Director, Mr Menkemcha Ezekiel is a youth unlike many others with a fervent determination for success.

A visit to his establishment is a dream come true to many customers who'll have questions entertained and an opportunity to haggle to have items at affordable prices. Situated near "Elegance Pressing", the "Mega Electronics" is also a place for inspiration for those who think all hope is lost for the youths.

It is managed by a youth who has one cardinal objective in life: success. Business in Molyko may not be very lucrative these days. Reason why you may spend minutes before a customer enters to buy or inquire for something. However, the establishment offers a vivid example of a business venture that should be emulated by any youth worth the salt.
