Eritrea participated in the Berlin International Travel Show, the biggest of its kind at the global level, which was conducted from March 4 to 9.

The Eritrean Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Petros Tsegai, opened the Eritrean show staged by the Ministry of Tourism. Privately-owned travel agencies in Eritrea and Germany, as well as Eritrean Airlines, along with the Embassy also staged a show aimed at acquainting Eritrea's rich tourism potentials and the nation's culture to foreigners.

Accordingly, necessary information highlighting the breathtaking beauty of the Eritrean coastline, ports and islands, as well as diving prospects in the unpolluted blue waters of the Red Sea was provided. In addition, briefings were given to visitors regarding the spectacular art deco, ancient historical sites and the Eritrean railway system, especially the Asmara-Massawa railway, attracting the attention of the visitors.

Eritrea participated in the International Travel Show for the 4th time.
