Nigeria: Two Nigerian Refs for Futsal

Confederatoin of African Football (CAF) has picked two Nigerian referees for the African preliminaries of the Futsal World Championship taking place in Libya later this month.

The Nigerian referees are Ayeni Saheed and Ozor Osmond. They are part of the 16 from six countries who will officiate in the African preliminaries taking place in Libya from March 21-30, 2008.

The referees are from Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Cameroon, Mozambique and Libya. Each of the countries have three referees except Cameroon and Morocco with two each.

Ten countries are participating in the Futsal competition with the draws taking place on March 15 in Tripoli. The 10 countries will be divided into two groups of five teams. They are Angola, Cameroon, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia and Zambia.
