Angola: Parliament Speaker to Meet Sao Tomean President, Premier

Angola's Parliament Speaker, Roberto de Almeida, is to meet this Wednesday with Sao Tome and Principe's Head of State, Fradique de Menezes, and Prime Minister Patricie Trovoada, in the ambit of his visit to that African country, ANGOP has learnt.

Under the same programme, Roberto de Almeida, will also meet with the leader of the main opposition party, the MLSTP-PSD.

On Tuesday, Roberto de Almeida was at the local parliament where he was welcomed by the MPs and met later with his counterpart, members of the parliament's first specialised commission and of the Sao Tome/Angola parliamentary group.

On his arrival, on Monday, Roberto de Almeida, visited the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto farming and cattle-raising state-owned firm, and the Rosema brewery, which belongs to the Angolan businessman Melo Xavier.

On Thursday, Roberto de Almeida will sign a joint statement and is to tour de Ilha das Rosas tourism site.

The Angolan Parliament Speaker is being accompanied in this official trip by the MPs Jacques Mato Gala, Albertina Teresa Jose and Henriques Afonso Raimundo.
