Belas Shopping Centre, located in the south of Luanda, organises as from 8 March a photo and plastic arts exhibition to honour Angolan women, under the "March Women" commemorations.

The exhibition, which does not have a time limit, displays a group of picture-frames portraying Angolan women's participation in political, social, economic and cultural life, as well as their engagement in the liberation war.

According to Belas Shopping marketing agent, Irmala de Sousa, who passed the information to ANGOP, the show is based on pictures of women connected to culture, business, politics, journalism and sports.

Irmala de Sousa highlighted that the homage is a demonstration of the unquestionable contribute that women have been giving for the well-being of their families and the Angolan society.
