Veteran businessman Raphael Sikwane is scheduled to run a one-day workshop on mind power tomorrow.

The workshop targets business people, trainers of business people and any interested party. The theme of the workshop is 'make money by dissolving stress'.

Sikwane has been in business since 1981 but he had to go through the mind power training and counselling to remove barriers from his mind. He confesses that he has drawn lessons from his past failures. "I have passed that stage and I am in the position of making money in a balanced way," he said. He added that unless business people get help, they can forget about being successful. He said most of them are living from hand to mouth and others are accumulating debts that they will never pay back. He said some people are making millions but undergo many difficulties or suffer marital chaos and divorce. Sikwane said many lack balance in the drive to make money and in relationships as they have no time for family, meditation or relaxation. Such people do not have a harmonious relationship with God. He said that this impacts negatively on moneymaking abilities. Sikwane said that in business one works hard and accumulates stress.

The stress causes tension in the muscles. When one is stressed they are at risk of maladies such as high blood pressure and ulcers. Sikwane's mission is to empower those attending the workshop to get rid of negative emotions such as anger, fear, depression, jealousy and bitterness. He hopes that the participants will remove those inner stressors and barriers that stand between them and what they can do. The workshop will impart skills on the 'science of getting rich'. Sikwane hopes that the workshop will help reduce business failure rate and help participants develop a balanced lifestyle, full of happiness and contentment. He said the minds of business people need to be trained and therefore they should read success books. He said he has read over 500 success books.
