Senafe

The Mainshti-Ham road that is under construction in the Senafe sub-zone will play a major role in utilizing, studying and preserving the historical relics of the Ham Monestary, in addition to helping alleviate transportation problems in the adjacent areas, reports indicated.

The road would enable tourists and researchers to observe the historical relics of Ham and conduct studies.

The construction of the 8 km-long road characterized by tough terrain has already reached Cheanadug and it would soon be connected with Ham. The road, once finalized, would provide efficient service to a number of villages in the area. Previously, the local inhabitants used to travel long distances to obtain different social services.

Meanwhile, a potable water supply project has been implemented in Cheanadug and is already providing potable water to the local inhabitants. The Ham Monastery lies on the left side of Tsorona-Meshal Akran and takes 2 hours to reach on foot.
