The Speaker of the Angolan Parliament, Roberto de Almeida, proceeds his work visit to Sao Tome and Principe, with a tour to the Ilhéu das Rolas tourism site, in the south of that country, ANGOP has learnt.

On Wednesday, Roberto de Almeida met with the leader of the main opposition party, MLSTP-PSD, Rafael Branco.

After the meeting, Roberto de Almeida told the press that both entities analysed aspects of the existing bilateral co-operation and other linked to governance, political stability and development.

The Angolan Parliament Speaker also visited the works for the building of a new Embassy in Sao Tome and Principe, as well as met with the Angolan community residing there.

Since Monday in that African country, Roberto de Almeida is being accompanied by the MPs Jacques Mato Gala, Albertina Teresa Jose and Henrique Afonso Raimundo.
