Sierra Leone: Country Takes Part in Women's History Month in Washington D.C.

Freetown — United States ambassador to Sierra Leone June Carter Perry has nominated Justice Salimatu Koroma to a roundtable for women in justice at the department of state in Washington, DC, US embassy press release Wednesday states.

She was expected to join Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice yesterday to the international global forum for women's justice, bringing together judges from around the world to recognize the global severity of violence against women and their lack of access to justice.
