The Board of Directors, Members and Officials of the "Concern New Georgia Citizens Incorporated" extends thanks and appreciation to the World Lebanese Cultural Union for its role to eliminate illiteracy rate in Mama Liberia.
During its 4th Anniversary which was held in the Township of New Georgia last Sunday, The Executive Director, Rev. James M. Zaza, Sr. described the World Lebanese Cultural Union's President, Mr. Tony Hage, as a man of hospitability and integrity. Rev. Zaza further said that Mr. Hage is a man who lives up to his promises. According to him, Mr. Hage awarded several scholarships to some students since 2005 and the students are still beneficiaries of the kind gesture.
Meanwhile, the parents of the students have described Mr. Tony Hage not only as a Philanthropist but also a father to the children of this nation. Mr. Jerome Sulay, who spoke on behalf of the parents, said that the students will be very ungrateful if they do not honor members of the World Lebanese Cultural Union early this year. He also called upon other organizations and Philanthropists to assist deserving students in order to minimize illiteracy in Liberia.
