Eritrea: Ministry Offering Training to Different Heads

The Ministry of Information is offering training to different heads in the Ministry on management, resource management, institutional capacity-building and work guidelines.
In an opening speech, Mr. Ali Abdu pointed out that the training is aimed at upgrading programs to the highest possible level and ensuring effectiveness vis-à-vis media challenges, institutional capacity-building, enhancing implementation and establishing effective communication system on the basis of coordinating the existing practical experience with theoretical knowledge.
Mr. Ali further reminded that priority attention should be given to the task of enhancing knowledge, develop special profession and skill, and above all nurture the dignity of labor and professionalism that reinforces the culture of work, as well as pay special attention to the task of ensuring effectiveness and productivity.
Moreover, he stressed the significance of promoting the culture of institutionalization and reinforcing values as part of efforts to achieve the set goals and attain maximum work output in the domain of mass media. In this respect, Mr. Ali underlined the paramount role of media organs, as societal guide, in charting development and all-round social progress, as well as meeting national challenges. To this end, he indicated that the Ministry would organize similar training programs.
Mr. Ali went on to express appreciation to all those who shared their knowledge and skill with the participants of the present training program.
