Asmara — In continuation of the donations being made in support of martyrs' families and drought victims, Eritrean citizens at home and abroad contributed over 570,000 Nakfa for the cause.

Accordingly, Eritrean citizens living in Jeddah donated over 200,000 Nakfa, nationals in Riyadh over 90,000 Nakfa, and those in the Qatari city of Doha and the UK contributed nearly 35,000 and 172,000 Nakfa respectively in support of drought-affected fellow citizens. Similarly, three Eritrean sisters, namely Ms. Lemlem Gebreab who lives in the US, Ms. Hansu Gebreab residing in the UK, and Ms. Saba Gebreab who lives in Canada donated a total of 10,000 Nakfa to children of fallen heroes from the money that was intended for funeral service of their late aunt.

Moreover, the Agordat sub-zone Fruits and Vegetables Production Association contributed 50,000 Nakfa in support of the children of martyrs.
