Angola's Oil minister, Desiderio Costa, on Friday here said the stability in Angola and Algeria provide propitious environment for the re-launch of the co-operation in the areas of oil, transports, fisheries, commerce, agriculture, tourism and hotels, ANGOP has learnt.

Desiderio Costa said so while speaking at the third session of the bilateral commission for economic, scientific, technical and cultural co-operation between the two countries, that will analyse the strategies for bilateral interchange.

Under the relations between the two countries, attention will be focused on private and public firms-related co-operation, and use it a stimulating factor for the relations between both countries.

"It is an intention of the Angolan authorities to study and debate procedures that lead us to the setting up of business partnerships which enable the presence of our economic operators in our markets", said the minister.

The two governments, he said, should create conditions which facilitate the promotion of participation of businesspeople from the two countries, thus fomenting entrepreneurial technical co-operation, both at the level of joint-ventures and direct investment.

The relationship between both countries date back from the beginning of the struggles for liberation of the African continent and has been strengthened over time, through synergies that contributed to the independence of both states, said the minister.
