Youths in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital last Wednesday had a thrill of their lives as the MTN XtraCool concert train berthed at the Polo Club in the Eleyele area of the ancient city.

It was the Ibadan leg of the ongoing MTN XtraCool tour with 2Face and friends.

So far, the MTN XtraCool tour with 2Face and friends has proven to be a show like no other as apart from the lead music idol, 2Face Idibia, upcoming music acts are also given an opportunity showcase their stuff.. Among this group, one artiste that was extremely outstanding during the Ibadan show was Abolore Adegbola (aka 9ice), who mounted the stage midway into the show.

Immediately his name was announced by the compere, popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, alias Basket Mouth, the crowd went wild with excitement.. As a master of his art, 9ice started with some of his popular tracts such as Ganja, Little Money, and the others, which had the audience enthralled. But immediately he switched over to his latest rave titled Gongo Aso, the crowd went simply delirious with excitement.

They took the song from his mouth and everybody instantly became 9ice, singing with a lot of gusto.

It was a moment to behold as the entire arena was turned into a huge dance floor with everyone trying to out dance his neighbour. Even the soldiers manning the gates were not left out they also joined in the dancing spree.

The dancing continued for well over fifteen minutes as 9ice continued to improvise on the same tract and the artiste almost caused a commotion when he jumped down the stage and went towards the audience. All the girls went wild as they tried to touch him.

They pressed so hard at the barrier that it almost gave way. The heavily built security men from the Voltron stables had a tough time trying to control the surge. After 9ice came other artistes such as Sound Sultan, Marvelous Benji and the others. Later the music rave of the moment TuFace Idibia and his band made their entry.

They did not disappoint as it was another time of gyration and karaoke session for the crowd. The MOBO and MTV Base award winning mega star had a scintillating performance in Ibadan as he preached the gospel of "one love" during the night.

With the brilliant performance by some of his musical friends who were part of the tour, the crowd started to thin when it was well past midnight.
