Kumasi — THE ST. AUGUSTINE Anglican Parish, at Manso-Domi-Beposo in the Amansie West district, of the Ashanti Region, has been inaugurated with the commissioning of a GH¢10,000 Mission House.
The Anglican Church, at Manso Domi-Beposo, was established in 1914 a year after the St. Cyrian's Church in Kumasi was established.
The Manso Nkwanta Traditional Council has released a 25-acre piece of land to the Church, for infrastructural development towards the establishment of an Anglican Science Technology University College, at Manso Nkwanta, by September 2008.
The Anglican Bishop of the Kumasi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Daniel Yinka-Sarfo, charged the parish to win more souls through evangelism.
He asked Christians to invest more in their children's education, instead of using their resources on unprofitable ventures.
Mr. Mensah Acheampong, an Accra-based businessman, presided over the commissioning, which realized GH¢2,400.00, during an appeal funds in aid of a new church building.
