Asmara — Eritrean nationals living in Riyadh and its environs pledged in a meeting they held on March 14 to donate half of their monthly salary to the national cause.
They also contributed 118,000 Saudi Riyal during the meeting as an expression of their support to the on-going national development drive. Besides, a number of the participants pledged to donate a total of 250,000 Riyal for the same cause.
In the meeting characterized with patriotic zeal, the participants adopted resolutions, including that of lauding the Eritrean government's endeavors to promote peace and stability in the region, condemning the conspiracies of the TPLF regime and its collaborators, particularly the US Administration aimed at undermining the peace and stability of the Homeland and the region at large, among others.
