The heavy rains experienced in the past few days are expected subside, giving way to mild weather in the following days.
The Principal Technical Officer, Regina Manyathelo, says Ngami and Gantsi are expected to be cloudy and mild with scattered thundershowers today.
South East, Kgatleng, Kweneng, Kgalagadi, North East, Central, Chobe and the Southern District will be cloudy and mild with isolated thundershowers.
On Thursday, Gantsi is expected to be cloudy and warm with scattered thundershowers, with the remaining areas being partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers.
On Good Friday, Gantsi, South East, Kgatleng, Kweneng and Southern district will be partly cloudy and warm with scattered thundershowers. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers.
The highest rainfall recorded on Monday by Meteorological Services was in the Central District in Mopipi with 226.1 mm, followed by Molepolole with 133 mm and Rakops with 123.7mm.
The other areas are Gaborone village with 114.8mm, Gantsi 110.9mm, State House 106mm, Thamaga and Sikwane, both 105mm. In Ngamiland, Tsau recorded 104mm.
The least rain was recorded in Lerala in the Central District. Meanwhile, due to the recent rains, dam levels have gone up with Gaborone dam rising to 70 percent representing 26 months supply. Shashe is overflowing at 101 percent with 25 months supply, while Bokaa and Nnywane are both full with 16 and 15 months supply respectively.

Letsibogo dam levels are 91 percent, enough for 22 months and Molatedi is at 27 percent.
