Francistown — An 18 year old man who has been missing since 4 March has been found. The family of the young man say they are glad they found him unharmed.

Boemo Ntsimako from Kanye went missing mysteriously early this month on his way to visit his cousin in Borolong, near Francistown.

The police say they received a report from Gaborone on Saturday, March 15 that the missing person had been seen at his uncle's place. Tatitown Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Alfred Ntiile, says the Francistown police did not see him.

"We cannot say we saw him but we got a report on Saturday that he was in Gaborone and we sent Gaborone police there.

They saw him and they took his statement and that is why we say he was found," he said. Ntiile said that in his statement, Ntsimako said that he was robbed of his possessions and had nowhere to go.

"On the 4th when he came he slept at Donga in Francistown and on the 5th he slept in Borolong at the school and according to his story he was back in Gaborone on Thursday," he said. During police investigations Ntsimako was allegedly spotted in several places like Borolong, Shashemooke and Francistown but the police did not find him at any of the places.

During that day he also called his brother in Dukwi to tell him he had arrived but had not seen Seokwang's homestead. Ntsimako's brother seemingly told him to check Seokwang's young child at Borolong Primary School to take him home. That was the last time they communicated. Ntsimako's aunt who wished to remain anonymous said that they indeed found him through his uncle in Gaborone and right now he is at home.

"He is here at home in Marobela Village with me now. He says he was given P51 by a Good Samaritan to go to Gaborone," she said. She said the story is very mysterious and does not make sense to her.
