Nigeria's representative in this year's Africa Champions League, Gombe United, yesterday depart the country for Cameroon ahead of their Sunday's encounter.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Gombe based team would be hosted by Cotton Sports FC in Garuwa Stadium, in the northern part of Cameroun on Sunday.

Jack Moses-Ekwe, the media officer of the team told NAN today in Abuja that the team, comprising 25 players and seven accompanying officials would travel by road for the event.

"We plan to travel by road from Gombe to Maiduguri from where we would cross the border into Cameroun," Moses-Ekwe said.

He said the team was in high spirit ahead of the crucial encounter.
