Harare — TOP South African kwaito star Mzekezeke, otherwise known as Dj Sbu, is set to ignite Circus nightspot in Strathaven, Harare, tonight.
The masked Mzekezeke aka Zexman - is expected to jet into the country this afternoon courtesy of Long Cash Entertainment.
"He will be landing around 2pm and by 3pm Mzekezeke will be signing autographs at Sheraton Hotel before bringing the roof down at Circus.
"His visit is part of an ongoing programme to bring renowned regional DJs into the country which we started with DJ Waxxy in January," said show organiser Tongai Mnangagwa.
The party continues at the same joint with the Marshmallow Party tomorrow where girls in bunny attire would be in the house serving Easter eggs.
Pastor Herman Chimusoro would be doing his own thing with two free shows in the Harare Gardens on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.
Chimusoro -- expected to record a live DVD and audio album during the two-day event -- shares the stage with Diva Mafunga, Zim Praise and some youthful artistes from the Celebration Choir where all performances will be captured on DVD.
Tanga Wekwa Sando sets the ball rolling at Jazz 105 tonight before Rute Mbangwa seduces patrons at the same venue on Easter Saturday.
Bana Des As bring their act to the same venue on Sunday while Summer Breeze has been roped in for the Easter Monday slot.
On Sunday, Monomotapa Crowne Plaza Gardens witnesses a carnival spirit when Jazz in the Park roars to life with Victor Kunonga and Summer Breeze entertaining patrons.
BV Labien Musica invades Semanzini Hotel in Greendale tonight before rocking Club M5 in Westlea with their "Kumba Handiendi" act while their last show of the Easter holidays has been slated for Las Vegas Night Club in Mufakose. Tongai Moyo takes the heart of the capital by storm when he performs at Sports Diner tonight.
After the Harare affair, Tongai heads to Mutare for his first show of the year in the town at Beit Hall tomorrow before making another stop-over at Vhengere Stadium in Rusape.
Back in the capital the Alick Macheso-Progress Chipfumo romance continues when they perform at Club Lashers in Budiriro tonight. The pair heads to Mabvuku-Tafara for another show at Mabvuku Hall tomorrow while on Easter Sunday they would be at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera.
Sulumani Chimbetu caters for all Dendera music lovers in Chegutu when he performs at the Arms Bar tonight before he proceeds to Chinhoyi for another gig at Cooks Hall on Easter Saturday.
Pamuzinda Highway X-Scape will this Easter stamp its authority as the headquarters of old skool music.
UK-based DJ Munya (777) will be in the house tonight alongside DJ Flabba, Bridget Gavanga, Dr Zobha and many more.
The same line-up spins the wheels tomorrow and the day after.
Sports Diner will be on fire tomorrow when Power FM presenter DJ Scott caters for patrons at the venue.
On Easter Sunday, the focus will be on dance groups when Apama Style takes control of revellers at the same joint.
Nicholas "Madzibaba" Zakaria teams up with Tedius Matsito to entertain fans at Madzeka Night Club in Murehwa tonight.
Tomorrow, the two stage a gig at Madzeka Night Spot in Mutoko before winding up their itinerary with a performance at March Motel in Nyamapanda on Sunday.
