Barely less than 24 hours, he was fired from his Ministerial job, Crispin Gray Johnson, has bounces back, this time rehired as the Secretary of State for Higher Education. Johnson who was the erstwhile Foreign Affairs Minister, has returned to his former Portfolio. He was the first Minister to officiate the said Ministry.

The President acting on powers conferred on him by the constitution appointed Gray Johnson as the Secretary for Higher Education. He replaces Abdoulie Sallah, who was sacked along side with three other Secretaries of State.

Reports say a delegation of concerned Gambians launched an appeal on behalf of the disgraced Minister for the President to reconsider his decision of letting Johnson go. " The President has finally accepted our request. Johnson should not be disgraced like that. I think he deserves honorable retirement, considering his length of service." Said the state house insider.

Meanwhile, the new hired Minister would be sworn-in- soon. The Freedom Newspaper is currentlty busy investigating Jammeh's relationship with the new Tourism Minister Nancy Njie. Scary details have been lined up for consumption.
