Consultations are continuing between executives of the ruling Unity Party and aggrieved youths of the party, over reported calls by the youth, for the resignation of the party's chairman, Dr. Charles Clarke.
Responding to reporters' questions regarding a reported sit-in action by some members of the youth wing of the party, President Ellen Johnson said the government continues to make efforts to respond to the needs of partisans of the ruling party, but reminded Unity Partisans that the party is a party for all.
According to an Executive Mansion release, the First partisan expressed the hope that youth and other partisans of the Unity Party will help unite the people of the country and not divide them in the name of jobs.
On the sit in action, the President said partisans were exercising their rights to protest peacefully, a right guaranteed under the Liberian constitution.
Meanwhile, the Liberian leader has described as positive, efforts between Liberian and Ghanaian authorities to find an amicable solution to the situation involving more than five hundred Liberians refugees at the Budumburum Resettlement Center on the outskirts of Accra.
The President told reporters that that a high level foreign ministry delegation is headed for Accra this weekend to hold further discussions with Ghanaian foreign Ministry officials.
The Liberian leader said Tuesday that government was making preparations to receive the Liberians if Ghana went through with its decision to expel the Liberian refugees. "I don't know whether they will accept that appeal, but indeed, if Ghana sends them, we have a back-up plan; That is, we are prepared to receive them, if Ghana does expel them as it has announced," the President emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Voinjama Cabinet session entered its third day of deliberations Wednesday, with discussions centered on the Civil service and its reform process; the General Service Agency policy regarding used car purchase and the budget for fiscal year 2008/09.
As part of Wednesday's session, an interaction session is being held between the President, the Superintendent Council and the Cabinet.
The session also includes a Consultative meeting with stakeholders, involving the Kolahun/Ford Foundation Community on development issues, and the Lofa County University Students Association.

The citizens of Lofa are also expected to present a petition to the President Wednesday's closing session of the Cabinet Retreat which ends on Thursday with the dedication in Voinjama of the Telewoyan Hospital, renovated with funding provided by Swiss government.
