Kampala — THE Libyan leader's mid-week frontal attack on the Bible has continued to elicit strong responses from Christian and non-Christian leaders alike, with Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga describing Col. Muammar Gadaffi's views as provocative.
"Had the Christians said something similar [about] the Koran, there would be war," Dr Lwanga, who is the Catholic archbishop of Kampala, said during Good Friday prayers at Nakivubo Stadium. "But we need to forgive him and pray for his conversion."
Interestingly, Col. Gadaffi questioned the Bible's authenticity at the same Nakivubo Stadium in Kampala on Wednesday while leading celebrations to mark the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
The Libyan leader said that someone had deleted the name of Prophet Muhammad from the text of the Bible and as such it is a forgery. He thus called for the search of the genuine Bible.
But Christian leaders are having none of it.
"To say that the Bible is a forgery because Prophet Muhammad is not included [is] distorting religious facts," Dr Lwanga said. "The Koran came in 610 AD long after the Bible [had been written] in 1450 BC. How can we be blamed for not including what was not in existence?"
MP David Bahati (NRM, Ndorwa West), the secretary of the Uganda Parliamentary Fellowship, said yesterday that Col. Gadaffi's remarks were a direct attack on the principles of tolerance and co-existence.
"It is clear that Col. Gadaffi's views had nothing to do with the Muslims in Uganda and our people should ignore his remarks," Mr Bahati said. "We have lived together harmoniously and no one should promote disunity among our people."
Some Muslims appear to have also been taken aback by the directness of the Libyan colonel.
MP Ibrahim Kadunabbi (NRM, Butambala), the chairman of the Uganda Muslim Parliamentary Caucus, said: "As Muslims, we are mandated to reflect on our utterances, this is what religion says. It was crucial for Col. Gadaffi to first think over before saying anything like that to avoid causing problems."
Makerere University Chaplain Larry Kanyike dismissed Col. Gadaffi as a man ignorant of the subject he was talking about.
"Gadaffi attacked the Bible because he is a Muslim and assumes that other religions are secondary, which is not correct," Fr Kanyike said yesterday. "Gadaffi is a politician, not a biblical scholar."
The head of the National Fellowship of Born Again Churches yesterday expanded the attack on the Libyan leader that he first voiced in remarks reported on Thursday.
"Col. Muammar Gadaffi is ignorant," an angry-sounding Apostle Alex Mitala told Sunday Monitor on Friday. "With such ridiculous remarks, it is now clear that his mission here was not closing the Afro-Arab [Youth Festival and opening the Gadaffi National Mosque] but to spread Islam and that is why he messed up things."
Added Apostle Mitala: "His comments were not only outrageous but also nonsensical because the Bible was written 600 years before Prophet Muhammad was born."
The Libyan's views have so roiled the waters that various Christian groups are falling over themselves in condemnation.
"This issue cannot be taken lightly," said the Rev. Canon Aaron Mwesigye, the provincial secretary of the Church of Uganda speaking on behalf of Archbishop Luke Orombi.
"For us in the Church of Uganda, we have already issued a statement on this matter. But again, under our umbrella organisation [the Uganda Joint Christian Council - UJCC] we are going to issue another statement on Tuesday on the same matter because we're deeply concerned."
Archbishop Orombi is reported to be on a working trip out of the country. Fr Kanyike of Makerere said calls being made by some sections of the Christian community for Col. Gadaffi to apologise "are useless because Gadaffi does not understand what he was talking about and you cannot base an apology on ignorance".
Several Christian leaders demanded an apology from the Libyans on the same day Col. Gadaffi spoke out.
The government, which appears to be feeling the heat generated by the President's guest who abruptly left the country on Thursday, is meanwhile keeping quiet hoping the furore will run its course and die out.
"As government we have no intention to respond to such remarks," said Dr James Nsaba Buturo, the minister of Ethics and Integrity. "Col. Gadaffi's comments were individual remarks and the government has no business with such."
Christians account for more than 80 percent of Uganda's population of nearly 30 million.

It is very disturbing that despite the enslavement, colonization and exploitation of Africa by Europeans and Americans that Africans have not learned anything.
Despite the rape and murder of millions of Africans using man-made viral attack (HIV-Aids and Ebola) still Africans have not learned anything and are still "sleeping".
When will they wake up?
Most Africans have no idea what is happening in Europe and America or WHAT other people think of them.
All over the world non-Africans look down on Africans and regard them as nothing but dumb animals.
And Africans are not helping this. They engage in activities to justify this image and steretype.
Christianity was created in Egypt, which is in Africa and exported to Europe and then re-exported to Africa and used as one of the greatest weapons to enslave and exploit them.
Why would Africans keep worshiping a non-existent, non-historical and fictional Jew named "Jesus Christ" and yet it was the Jews and Arabs who began slave trade and introduced it to the Europeans and Americans?
This shows that Africans are not thinking at all!!!
Whatever nonsense that they bring to Africa, be it Christianity or Islam, Africans jump to embrace it without any research or reasoning to determine the validity of it.
And they would kill themselves defending these idiocies.
I have never seen any African converting the Jews, Moslems, Christians, Buddhists or Mormons to African native religion and culture.
It is always others converting Africans to their religions and cultures. Can any African tell me why this is so?
All over the world human beings believe and worship one true God that they believed is the creator of the universe!
Sadly enough, they do not know that the one true God who created human beings was an ancient astronaut, called Enki (the Serpent God, aka Ptah of Egypt, aka “E.A”) who was the creator of human beings on Earth. When people talk of “Heaven”, they may not know it but it is the planet where these ancient astronauts, the Anunnaki’s came from (Nibiru).
I am sure the only history of humanity 80% of human beings in Europe and America (and Africans too) are familiar with is what they read in the Bible.
The Bible is just a re-written account of much older ancient records of the history of human beings.
When the Jews went into captivity in Babylon about 700 BC, they had access to this history of the Anunnakis and copied and re-wrote it.
Nanna, the son of Enlil became Jehovah of the Bible, and Enki, the creator of human beings became the serpent God.
The Bible is hostile to Enki (The African Scientific god who created all modern human beings including Europeans and Americans) because the Jews were aligned to Enlil (the biblical Jehovah, aka Yahweh), the crazy terror Anunnaki god who hated human beings and wanted them destroyed by flood.
The father of Nanna was ENLIL also called El. That is why most Jewish names contain these two letters “EL”. For example, Daniel (DANI-EL), Israel (ISRA-EL) and so on. It is very strange how human beings worship the evil, hateful Anunnaki God (JEHOVAH) who hated them and wanted them destroyed, while the benevolent God, (ENKI, E.A, PTAH) who created them and saved them, they do not know!!!
The Old Testament Bible was written by Ezra, Jewish priest and his priests.
The story is true except that it was copied and re-written from Babylonian and Egyptian ancient records and the scenes in the stories were changed to Canaan/Israel/Palestine.
The same thing is true with the New Testament Bible.
Christianity preaches love others as you love yourself, compassion and forgiveness.
If they slap you on one cheek, just turn the other cheek so they may slap you too, and do not worry, your reward will be in heaven after you die.
A very efficient doctrine for complete brainwashing and enslavement of human beings to be dominated and exploited, that have sadly gone on for about 2000 yrs now.
Yet most Christians are the most egoistic, unforgiving, inconsiderate, rude, foul-mouthed, discriminatory, and condemnatory as well as loveless and hateful human beings on earth. What an irony.
Almost all Christian nations of the world have built atomic, hydrogen and nuclear bombs that they target at other enemy countries as well as stockpiles of biochemical weapons that they intend to use if there is World War 3.
What happened to the Christian teaching of turning the other cheek and forgiving your enemy?
It was a Christian nation that created the HIV AIDS virus that they used to infect the whole world that have killed at least 50,000,000 people so far.
Where is Christian teaching of love other human beings in this?
All my life, I have never seen any Christian who turns the other cheek when you slap him.
Instead, they would call the police and charge you with assault and you would be prosecuted and go to prison.
Christian nations have jails that are filled with prisoners who are innocent of the crimes they were charged with and yet they would not set them free and compensate them.
Where is the Christian ideal of justice in this?
More than 75% of Christians are addicted to various drugs, (both prescription and non-prescription) that include marijuana, cocaine, meth. (speed), ecstasy, PCP, crack, heroin and opium and others.
60% of Christians suffer from various mental disorders including delusion, denial of reality, hallucinations, are possessed by evil spirit, schizophrenia, bipolar, megalomaniac, neurosis, sexual insanity, psychosis and long list of other mental problems and should be hospitalized and treated.
Instead they are set lose to wander about, tormenting those who are sane and law-abiding.
80% of American women are acting in porn movies, nude-stripping, engaging in direct and indirect prostitution and 70& of American men are hooked up on watching sickening and horrible porn movies that degrade and exploit women.
They spend $12 billion dollars yearly doing this.
In these sickening porn movies, you would find the most vile sexual practices: bestiality, bisexuality, lesbianism, pedophilia, masochism, sadism, bondage and domination, and scatological sex.
Female porn actresses sticking their fingers, licking and sucking the anuses and private parts of both men and women and practicing oral sex, fetish sex, orgies, and rough sex.
Some actresses shove beer cans, base ball bats and snakes into their private parts.
Some actresses have piercing inside their mouth, tongue, eye brows, nipples and private parts. In the sickening porn movies, they are sprayed with sperm and a shower of urine and feces.
In addition, they are licking, sucking, swallowing and wallowing in them and smiling!!! Are these people human beings at all? Are the people who spend $12 billion yearly to watch these sickening porn movies human beings?
Almost 90% of all the businesses are dishonest, deceptive in their advertisement and dealing with their customers and they are proud and bold in their criminality.
The leaders and politicians and the citizens play games with each other.
Each tell lies and try to deceive and exploit the other.
This is what they call democracy, the best political system in the world that should be spread all over the countries of the world and any country that refuses to adopt it is condemned as an enemy and evil and their economy sabotaged and destroyed.
This is what Americans are sending innocent 18 yr old teenagers to die overseas for.
Christianity is not only fictional, it is genocidal (it murdered more than 100 million humans beings in 2000 yrs of its history) irrational, poisonous and very dangerous to both your physical, mental, psychological and spiritual health.
There was no historical human being called Jesus Christ who lived in Palestine 2000 yrs ago.
All the books of New Testament Bible were written by Piso, aka Flavius Josephus (who was half Roman citizen and half Jew) and Greek Jews in Alexandria, Egypt.
The story of Jesus Christ is just a re-written account of the story of Egyptian Isis, Horus, Osiris and Seth, the half human and half Anunnaki gods, who were the children of Marduk (Ra), the son of Enki, the creator of modern human beings.
However, when you point this out to them, some of them would be ready to fight with you or even to lynch you.
They are quick to anger and very bigoted, hypocritical and intolerant of any opinion that is in conflict with their Bible and theology!
The cause of this may be because Christianity is a sad and death-oriented religion built around the death of Jesus Christ, so it does not allow its adherents to smile and be happy.
Therefore, it is not surprising that most Christians lack sense of humor.
If they were to suddenly find out the origin of their religion as I am revealing here, I am sure they would be rolling on the floor either laughing or crying so hard until their heads explode!!!
This is because their religion was a fictional story (based on non-fictional history) written in Alexandria Egypt by Greek Jews to preserve the story of Osiris, Isis, Horus and Seth, all the children of half human and half Anunnaki God, named Ra/Marduk.
In the Christian story in the New Testament, Horus was re-named Jesus Christ, (a half man and half God and at the same time the son of God), just like Horus. Seth of An in Egypt became Shaitan or Seth-An or Sat-an in Christianity, who tempted Jesus Christ (Horus).
In Egyptian tale, Seth murdered Osiris, his brother in other to take over both upper and lower Egypt and rule them. The mother of Horus was angry and went to Enki/Ptah, the grandfather of Horus for a solution. Enki extracted Osiris' (Horus father) sperm and used it to artificially impregnate Isis and she conceived and bore a son that they called Horus.
He was hidden until he grew up and was old enough to go after Osiris in a battle. This was why in the story of Jesus, it was said that he was conceived by "immaculate conception" (that is without the normal sexual intercourse between a man and a woman). Immaculate conception is what we call "artificial insemination" today, which was how Horus was conceived.
This is the origin of Christianity, what it is about and the story it tried to re-tell using new scenes and plot lines. In short, Christianity was a story created to re-tell the story of Isis, Osiris, Horus and Seth , the half human and half Anunnaki gods of Egypt.
It is high crime that all the church’s founding fathers, the scholars and Elites in Europe and America knew this to be true and yet they kept silent and would not speak up and enlighten the one billion people all over the world who have been misled by this religion and who don't know that Jesus Christ was not a historical person!!!
It is hilarious that for 2000 yrs they have been brainwashed and hypnotized to keep going to the church, synagogue, and temple every Sunday and Saturday to pray to Jesus Christ (a non-existent and non-historical fictional character) (and Jehovah, an ancient astronaut who was against human beings) to help, save, protect and deliver them from evil., give them bread and butter, help them get jobs, find their soul mates for marriage, defeat their enemies and make them rich, famous and powerful. They do not know that they are praying to a being that never existed!!!
It is very odd that 90% of Christians do not know the origin of their religion and the only world history that they know is what is in the Bible which are distorted stories copied from ancient records of events that happened in Egypt, Babylon and Sumeria hundreds of thousands of years ago.
This may explain why most Christians are painfully ignorant of human history and abjectly out of touch with reality.
The time has come for their Bishops, priests and teachers to start telling them the truth even though it will shock and hurt them and most would die of heart attacks to discover that they had been worshiping a fictional character named Jesus Christ as their savior for 2000 yrs and that after they die, they will not go to any heaven!!! Truth sure is stranger and more dangerous than fiction and that may be the reason why it is scarce.
I have not posted this article to try to force anyone to believe it.

Ghadafi has crossed the line and this is the beginning of his downfall as a dictator and a misuser of his country's wealth. Christians will not fight but the Lord is fighting him as we speak.
