Kampala — Senegalese-American R&B star, Akon is coming to Kampala.
The 27-year-old 5-time Grammy Award nominee is expected in town by April 26 and will perform live in a concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval. The show is estimated to cost about $1m (sh1.7b).
We hear organisers will fly in laser lighting and sound equipment from Europe. Snoops say Akon will be received by Kampala's most expensive cars and a helicopter. Nigerian stars P. Square, 2 Face Idibia and Kenya's Nameless will curtain raise for him. Watch this space!!!!
