With just two days to the 2008 Olympics final qualifier against the Amagluglug of South Africa, Under-23 national team coach, Samson Siasia has called on all Nigerians to troop out en-mass to support his players at the Abuja National Stadium.
While hailing Nigerians for their trust so far, the former Flying Eagles coach stated in a chat with brilafm.net that the fans should turn up at the stadium dressed in green and white, to show love for the players.
"We thank the fans for how they have supported us over the years, and in our past matches at home and abroad. This time, we need them more than ever, because we are going for a crucial final qualifier - which we must win.
"We want all the fans to troop out to the stadium on Wednesday, with everybody wearing green-and-white. That's the best way to show we are all together behind this team, and I want all Nigerians to put pray for the team," Siasia supplicated.
The former Super Eagles hit-man also revealed that the confidence level of the players has been boosted by the arrival of some foreign-based pros and hopes to get a full house this evening.

"The spirit in camp is high, and I am looking forward to victory on Wednesday. I am also expecting the arrival of those among our players who have not been with us for a very long time, and new ones are welcome to work together for victory come Wednesday," he stated.
