The President of South Africa's African National Congress (ANC), Jacob Zuma on Sunday considered Cuito Cuanavale as one of the most important regions of Africa and that it should be turned into a site for pilgrimage.

Jacob Zuma, who is paying a five-day visit to Angola, was speaking during a dinner with militants of Angola's ruling MPLA party, offered by Bongani Investments Holdings entrepreneurial group.

In his opinion, Cuito Cuanavale is one of the most important regions of Southern Africa and the defeat suffered by the extinct Apartheid forces in this region changed the political and historic course of the liberation of the region.

It also counted on a music show that gathered singers Yola Semedo, Conde and Dina Alexandre, and songs by South African singer Miriam Makeba were also interpreted.
