He indicated that the action of the officers is due to hardship in the county. Although it is not independently confirm, but Yealuo stressed that vacuum has been created in the security sector of Grand Kru County.

Officer Yealuo who threatened to also abandon his assignment in the county, disclosed that authorities of the LNP were doing nothing about their welfare adding, "The situation has exposed us to hardship and untold suffering."

Yealuo said since their deployment last year their salary has been intermittent.

"We are abandoned; we are facing serious problems with housing and feeding. Our salaries are not coming on time. Things are very expensive here," Yealuo explained.

"I am living here on the mercy of the Grandcess suspended City Mayor and his wife. They provide food and housing for me," he lamented.

He disclosed that three of his colleagues assigned in Kru Coast City him have left for Monrovia due to the action of their bosses.

Yealuo said they do not have communication equipment to contact the LNP headquarters least to say that a mobile phone company is in the county.

He is appealing to the Government to ensure the regularity of their salary.

It was observed that there were no police officers in Big Swan Town, Benweh and Pinicess except in Barclayville where there are very few officers most of them were not in uniform.
