Zimbabwe: Use Land Productively, Citizens Urged

Zimbabweans should use land productively and export produce to earn the much needed foreign currency in order to defeat sanctions, which were imposed on the country by the West and its allies.
In a statement Zimbabwe National Liberation Supporters' Association president Cde Collins Gapare said people should put political clowns to shame and vote for Zanu-PF candidates in the weekend elections. He said his association backs the ruling party that fought forces of oppression, colonisation, racism, tribalism, gender discrimination, corruption and religious harassment from the First Chimurenga to date.
"Zanu-PF has been able to take back our stolen land from the enemy and redistribute it to its rightful owners, black Zimbabweans," he said. Cde Gapare appealed to people not to abandon Zanu-PF because it was committed to their empowerment through the land reform programme. Youths should be made aware that Zimbabwe was being punished for repossessing land and redistributing it to the black majority.
Zimbabweans, Cde Gapare, said should therefore vote for Zanu-PF for the continuation of empowerment of indigenous black Zimbabweans and the final defeat of imperialism, colonialism and sanctions. The association is made up war veterans, ex-restrictees and detainees, war collaborators and patriotic intellectuals.
