Urban grooves artist King Labash has clinched a deal with Beaver Canoe Fashions that will see him being dressed for his shows and video shooting.

Lloyd Mponda, better known as King Labash, said the clothing company had interests in promoting music in Zimbabwe. "Beaver Canoe Fashions fell in love with my music and with their love to promote local artists they decided to promote my music through supplying me with trendy clothes for my videos and my shows," said Labash.

Labash was currently working on the launch of his 15-track album Cum Dis way, which was supposed to have been released last year but was delayed. The album features the hit song Kukonzeresa, a song that saw him rose to fame. It also includes the tracks Mukomana nemusikana, Africans, Pen and paper and more songs that exhibit his unique ragga style.

"I will be launching the DVD and album (Cum Dis Way) and I hope by mid April the album and the DVD will be on the shelves" added Labash. Mr and Mrs Manyora the owners of Beaver Canoe Fashions said they were keen to promote urban groovers as most of them represented the future.

According to the contract, Labash will be dressed for each show and media appearances in return Labash will acknowledge the shop in some of his forthcoming songs.
