Police Media Unit in Kenema Tuesday organized a radio programme on security and the conduct of violent free local council elections for political party representatives in the township.

PC 10322 Prince Kamara said a group of young men and women from various political parties have formed an alliance to ensure that the forthcoming local council's elections are conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.

He said the police are seriously concerned over the security status of the country and that they have called on the group to know their intention with regards the upcoming elections.

Kamara said 'security talk' is an ongoing campaign mounted by the SLP in the region to ensure that people adhere and maintain rules and regulations.

He said they have called on stakeholders from all walks of life on the radio to discuss security matters, as it is the concern of all.
