Officers of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) Tuesday here started the V Course for Weapons Experts and Techniques, aimed at refreshing and updating their military knowledge.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, FAA deputy chief of staff for the Operation Area, General Salviano de Jesus "Kianda" urged participants to dedicate more efforts to continue elevating their technical aspect, through an efficient and cautious maintenance of weapons.

According to general Kianda, in order to achieve this objective there an important and imperious need for the armed forces and especially the weapons and technical area to have capable, strict and professionally trained personnel to deal with every technique offered by the world and by the modern sciences itself.

Scheduled to last until April 25, the course is being lectured at Luanda's Garrison.
