Huambo — Some 1,725 youths, of both sexes, have benefited from professional training courses, from May 2004 to February 2008, at Chilnet professional Training Centre.
Speaking to ANGOP Monday, the official in charge of the training facilities, Dixon Chilundulo, said that out of the above cited figure 1,580 were trained in computer, whereas the remaining145 attended secretariat (80), English (15) and Hardware (50) courses.
Apart from Chilnet, Huambo also has other training centres, with highlight to Lobinet, Sistec, Casa dos Rapazes, Ieca, Becalele and Okuenda Net.
This year the province counts on the private Medium Polytechnic Institute that will train youths in various specialities.
