Sixteen new government officials of the northern Bengo province were sworn in Wednesday during a ceremony presided over by the provincial governor, Jorge Inocêncio Dombolo.

The officials are Fernando Domingos Manuel, sworn in as the secretary general of the provincial government, in replacement to Carvalho Neto. The new secretary general has already held the same post in the provincial government of Luanda and was also the administrator of Cazenga district.

Marques Alexandre, head of the Department of Publicity and Publication of the Social Communication Board, Bernardo Francisco, head of Trade, Tourism and Hotels Department, and Canda Futa, in charge of Juridical Assistant Department, among others, were also sworn in.

The recently sworn in officials pledged to cooperate in conducting the high interests of the State, and to defend the fundamental principles of order based on the constitution, to respect the laws and dedicate their zeal to civil services, intelligence and aptitude in the functions to which they have been entrusted.

At the occasion, Governor Jorge Dombolo urged the officials for commitment in the carrying out of the attributed tasks.
