Ondjiva — Angola's Seventh Day Adventist Church (IASD) donated this Tuesday, to the government of south Cunene province, various goods to help the population who fell victims to the floods registered last January in the region.
The goods were handed over by IASD's regional chairman in Angola, Armindo Caliquemala, at the presence of the director of the Assistance and Social Welfare Department in Cunene province, Josefina Pandeinge.
The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God and the Baptist Evangelic Church in Angola also donated goods.
According to statistics from the Provincial Civil Protection Commission of Cunene, about 26,000 were affected by the floods in the region.
