Ecobank group's outstanding commitment in the African continent has earned it the position as the Best Emerging Market Bank in Cote d'Ivoire.

According to an exclusive survey conducted by Global Finance Magazine with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and banking consultants, Ecobank's selection was based on several criteria including growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative products.

Commenting on the recognition given to the bank, Ecobank's Group chief executive officer, Arnold Ekpe, said the choice of Ecobank confirms its position as a leader in the emerging African banking industry and its long-term commitment to the African continent.

For him this distinction is not only a reward to the bank's dedication to provide superior customer service, before and during difficult times, but also to motivate its staff to work harder for the customer, including investors, during this post-conflict era in Côte d'Ivoire.
