Luanda — The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, Thursday here received a message from his Burkina Faso's counterpart Blaise Compaoré on state of cooperation between the two African nations.
The message was delivered by the West African country's Cooperation and Foreign Affairs minister, Djibric Bassolé, who was granted an audience by the President of the Republic.
At the end of the meeting, Burkina Faso's diplomat told the press that the president of his country wants to travel to Angola to discuss with president, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, huge dossiers related to Africa.
He referred his country wishes to strengthen cooperation ties in political and economic spheres with Angola.
Burkina Faso is an African country bordered by Mali on the north, Niger on the east and Benin, Togo, Ghana and Cote D'ivoire on the south.
It got its independence on 5 August, 1960, and it has 13.2 inhabitants. Its territorial extension is estimated at 274.000 square kilometres.
