Lubango

A least USD 400,000 was spent in the installing of the seventh agency of the Savings and Credit Bank (BPC), in Lubango city, and the ninth in south Huíla province.

Inaugurated this Thursday by the local governor, Ramos da Cruz, the branch will function with six workers and is "a new challenges for BPC within the province, mainly due to its localisation", said its regional delegate, Pedro Elvas.

The director informed that the new agency is prepared to carry out any banking operation and currently has at least 40,000 clients in the province. Pedro Elvas stated that the installing of branches in the districts of Quipungo, Jamba, Caluquembe and Chibia is one of the institution's future challenges.

Apart from Lubango, BPC also has delegations in the districts of Caconda and Matala.
