Eritrea: President Isaias Holds Talks With Qatari Prime Minister

President Isaias Afwerki today received and held talks with Sheik Hamed Bin Jasem Bin Jabir Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

In the meeting, both sides discussed all-round bilateral relations and assessed that Eritrean-Qatari ties continue to gain momentum. Besides conducting in-depth discussions on the practical steps that need to be taken to strengthen the existing relations, they exchanged views on the overall situation in the region.

Present at the meeting were the Eritrean ministers of foreign affairs, tourism and health.

The Qatari delegation, headed by Sheik Hamed Bin Jasem Bin Jabir Al-Thani, arrived today and later left for home after holding talks with the President.
