The Franco Namibia Cultural Centre (FNCC) in collaboration with the National Theatre of Namibia is proud to present Every Year, Every Day, a powerful drama about refugees with Jennie Rezneck and Faniswa Yisa from South Africa. This production will be presented at the National Theatre of Namibia next Tuesday.

The play, touring the Southern African circuit, completes is two-week run at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg this Sunday. The touring programme includes Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malawi and Kenya. The play is only performed once ion each of these countries.

In a press statement it was announced that the stage work portrays a mother and daughter fleeing persecution and violence in their native African country and are forced to overcome obstacle after obstacle in the hope of finding safe refuge in Cape Town.

"The play, like a surgeon's scalpel, neatly and disquietingly reveals the awful heartache of the loss of home and family. Like any journey-arduous or otherwise, there are moments of tenderness, hope, love and even humor," says the critic of The Herald (SA). Advance tickets are available at NTN Box Office at a price of N$45 or alternatively at the door for N$45. Doors opens at 19h00 and the show starts at 20h00.
