Now that Yahya Jammeh's latest twist vis-a-vis his grand style of hiring,firings and redeployment has finally taken off, lets analyse this social "force of thrust" once again. Physics says force of thrust describes motion where action and reaction produce results right? Hopefully we are not missing the essence of physics here because we are going to use it to diagnose a social stigma. This particular phenomenon has been tearing the the body politics of the APRC regime in a case by case bases. The central PART of Yahya Jammeh's failing engine is his insatiable feelings for myth and mythology.Where power for him means spiritual scores instead of democratic ones. On the other hand the same Yahya thinks him taking over power from Jawara in 1994 automatically makes The Gambia a borrower and he is the lendor. Yahya believes that The Gambia and Gambians owe him something because he is "messiah" in endless anger. Yahya Jammeh's case can be treated as a subject by analysts and researchers at any level. Such breed has to diagnosed,studied and "pegged" by our continent's intellectuals if we want to avoid a repeat version in other parts of the continent or subregion. That is why some of us never retire or relinquish the purpose of sharing his deeper miscalculations likewise the side effects of his deadly whims and caprices.

A case in point is the most recent "tremor" within the system. This is indeed not an "earthquake" compared to the other events we as people have been dragged through by Yahya Jammeh. This "tremor" is what some call mini cabinet reshuffle. Whatever latest semantics are prepared for Yahya Jammeh he has at least sent Neneh Macdoll out. Was she a liability for the regime or was the regime a liability for sister Neneh? We are yet to discover the hard facts. One thing is obvious in Yahya's regime the loudest always receive the harshest thunder bolts. You know why? Yahya uses someone,stains your name and then sacrifices you for harsh critics. Mostly he does this when he wants to silence tose harsh critics or is simply trying to deviate from what they are touching on. As time goes on the heap is getting bigger and bigger at the end everything will show how that very Yahya has bitten more than he can chew. He already knows that.

Those he did in the past and these latest hirings,firings and redeployments are not good signs for any regime. Look at the line of actions and reactions from 1994 to now. Yahya Jammeh has always used the same method of so-called "macho-metrics" without success! Why is this man not thinking about incentives instead of punnishment? Democracy has always been known for being a discipline that shuns force. Now how can a democratically elected president think he can always achieve results by force, is beyond comprehension. Yahya all these things you do,could have been handled by your Vice President. Look at it now...all these so-called experienced people you have around you will end up having it both sides. They will be there beef up their resumes,then blame you when you are overthrown or sent out by other means.

You could have been using "Independent Intelligence" to gather facts on those being hired,fired or redeployed at any given time. If you do so means you love your country not your selfish nature. Yahya Wake up and think.! Whether you like it or not you will leave that job one day,so try working toward the end of a legacy of "trials and errors". Your flow chart has just been too long and too boring for any methodology to support.

Her case has two challenges that are just too blatant to ignore. She or her loved ones will see "jealousy" in this criticism for subjective personal reasons,which I can understand as thats part of our shortcomings as humanbeings. On the other hand let them be reminded that subjective feelings do not run a state let alone a whole nation! This is about our nation's life and death. Where the combined interests of many is affected then subjective feelings affecting a person or a family unit cannot be equated to what affects a nation. When ever any person recognises this fact means he or she is a selfless servant. Isn't that patriotism? I sure think it is! That being the case Fatima Badjie is a "fresh" graduate with a BA. She is from a college in the USA. Her father has served The Gambia in the most diligent way. That makes her a good asset when it comes to her as a person and her parents as a family. Then comes the challenge she poses to reasons and interests affecting the nation. Sources have revealed that the lady is about 24 years old. Has not yet served enough to be seasoned. Will be handling a department that has others and others who are far more qualified in that regard. She is still within a paradigm of growth versus performance. Fatima herself knows she cannot do better than her permanent secretary. Another aspect here is that Yahya's Intelligence missed something about her. That is,some of her school mates in the USA are saying some'n different! They are pointing fingers at Fatima refering to the was she was publicising herself on the world wide web called MY SPACE. What was her motive at the time? Did the NIA find out? She cannot deny that too because many have so far downloaded and kept her details from that site. Eventhough it is not a crime to be on MYSPACE when it comes to handling delicate national affairs one needs to really check and see where and when a hired personnel of that kind of portfolio would embarass the system? Knowing Yahya Jammeh he will expect Fatima to adopt a dog-fight for him online,on the journals etc etc. Do Yahya and Fatima herself also know what is in waiting for her in case she starts attacking journalists or other critics? No person can escape criticism BUT some of it could be so damaging for a government as well. She will be really surprised if she attempts that at any given time. Her laundry maybe washed in public. She is being advised not to buy the soap for others! It may even be that Gambians she went to school with know worse things on her than what was revealed on Neneh Macdoll. Euphoria for the new job should not push Fatima to start sending lists of perceived enemies to the NIA or Yahya himself. She maybe tempted to do so but let her also know that Yahya her boss is not a problem for our movement let alone she. This is not a threat,just a cautionary way of bringing her and Yahya to their senses from the onset. All that we have "NEGATIVE" about Fatima will not be revealed as far as she stays civil and does her job within Yahya Jammeh's formulae of trials and error. If she decides to serve Yahya's angry tone instead of the nation, then she will face our ready engines at all cost. The choice is hers. As far as we are concerned Yahya hired Fatima and Firdaus the attorney General because he was desperate. These two are more of symbolic occupants of places that were supposedly causing vaccuums for the system than having satisfied the set standards. Of course Fatima and her loved ones will not appreciate anything written here today regarding her experience versus expectations from her boss Yahya Jammeh. However, let her not throw this text away because she will need it on that fateful day when Yahya decides to disown her. Certainly he will.

The next online is Dr Touray. In all honesty I must concur with this move for the first time since Bubu started writing. In my book the man fits that position much better than Crispin Grey Johnson if one is to go by education and manners(unless if Dr Touray allows himself become another limb of those "radioactive" characters around Marina Parade). The choice is his. No one cares about telling Dr Touray sweet words, we are simply responding to a gesture that we think suits the position he was offered to man, period. If he decides to become a limb of those "radioactive" characters, we sure will have lessons to share with him along the way. He should never think that Bubu will entertain sparing anyone in this struggle against decadence and callous manners. So far in his case we have not seen any reason why he should be castigated as a person. Unfortunately though, he is within a "stigmatized" statusquo,therefore he cannot escape blames in general. Let him not fool himself on that one please!

Although doctorate degrees are not always the solution where performance is expected,they still mean a lot where substance is at stake. He maybe substantive on one hand but what we are yet to know is how he will match his experience,knowledge and professional discipline with working with Yahya Jammeh in Banjul? Touray has to know that he has all this time been serving abroad. Now he faces the real challenge!

Let him also remember that another doctorate degree holder in the name of Professor Sedat Jobe was there earlier. We understand that Crispin Johnson and a man like OJ Sallah have been spreading false rumours questioning the veracity of Sedat's doctorate degree...but in our books Sedat is a smart cookie. Apart from his past association with brains like Leopold Senghore the essential part of his legacy was recently manifested when the man was invited by Intellectuals in Dakar Senegal. This was during a colloquium where President Wade asked African Intellectuals to help work with its states. Sedat was at the front row.Why would Dakar see the good in Sedat's intellect and a person like Crispin who was running after the same Dakar "originals" refuses to see the same? Is he not too toxic a character and cynical a being? Dr Touray should also bear in mind that some of these toxic characters will do all they can to paralyse his efforts. Let him also not be talking to the people at the department in parables,let him speak the common man's language. Serving under the current regime is not about mastering the art of "parables",it is only about trying to meander through the existing flow chart from Yahya's classroom of confusing "mertrics". Just for Yahya to know that we do our homework before going against or in support of anything,I want to share something with him. This is some'n Doctor Touray himself may not know how we got it as vital information on him. During our investigations we were told he is from Farafeni and his father was a quranic teacher(more was gathered but this is just to show Jammeh that we do our homework very well).
