South Africa: Free State, NHFC to Construct 6000 Low Cost Housing

Bloemfontein — About 6000 low to middle income houses will be constructed in Welkom through a R1.25 billion partnership agreement between a state-owned development finance institution and a private developer.

Signed by the National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) and Basil Read Developments on Wednesday, the project will see families with an average of four and a half people per household with adequate places to live.
