Sierra Leone: Britain Certifies Two Salone Graphic Designers in Dakar

British Council in Freetown has sponsored a training session for two Sierra Leoneans Akie Coker and Alpha Omega Songa in graphics alimentation and video mixing in a project titled 'bringing the noise' held in Dakar, Senegal.
Brining the noise is a project designed by the British Council to bring together British and African culture and to see how they can collaborate voice and visuals.
In the training ceremony which was organized in Studio Sankara Dakar, the two came out with an outstanding performance in the 'bringing the noise loop competition.' The competition was about mixing audio and video in a live performance.
Akie Coker formerly of the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service and Alpha Songa took the lead in the competition in the four computer software for video editing that were in place - Adobe Premier, Motion Drive , After effect and Corel.
The training ceremony started on March 10 and ended on the 16th this year at the Studio Sankara while the video mixing competition took place in the Just 4 U Complex Dakar and D'seck in on the March 21 and 22.

At the end of the competition Alpha Omega Songa of Sierra Leone came out as the best graphics designer.
The competition attracted participants from Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone and Mali.
The project is a British Council initiative that is organized around Africa led by the dance troop, I.G. cultural entertainment based in the U.K.
