According to the executive coordinator of provincial demining commission, Jerónimo Haleinge, in the same period, the authorities had collected 53,551 explosive devices, in a campaign part of the national programme on landmine clearance, aiming at reducing the accidents caused by these deadly devices in order to guarantee free flow of people and goods.

Jerónimo Haleinge referred that the works were carried out by the National Institute of Demining (INAD), Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), Rocand, Sedita and MGM.
