Luanda — The Angolan singer Emílio Camilo de Carvalho "Don Kikas", residing in Lisbon, Portugal, will perform on the weekend at the Angolan community based in Madeira island, Funchal city, Portugal, ANGOP learnt Friday from a reliable source.
Speaking on telephone from Lisbon, Don Kikas stressed that the show is an initiative of the Association of Africans Residing in Madeira and will be held at the Funchal city's park.
He noted that during the two-hour show he will sing tracks such as "Pura Sedução", "Esperança Moribunda", "Hey Criola", "Semba Matinal", "1900 and Kabuza", "Muxima" and others.
Don Kikas added that the event will rely on the musical support of his band, comprising three Angolan citizens, two Guineans, two Cape Verdeans and one Portuguese.
On the Album "Boas Festa Angola" volume-II, Don Kikas stated that it will be edited next April, in Europe, by the Portuguese Publishing Company "Vidisco", with view to promote and divulge the Angolan music in the international market, such as in Portugal, Spain, England and in the Netherlands, and will soon be presented in Cape Verde and Mozambique.
